Play it Cool is a project of Devon Development Education Charity number 1102233

Play It Cool is working to raise awareness about climate change in schools and communities in North Devon, and helps children and communities to respond using events and activities which are positive, interactive and enjoyable. Play it Cool is one of several projects funded by the Department for Environment and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) Climate Challenge Fund to help with climate change communications.

The project is offering schools in North Devon & Torridge free training for both teachers and pupil educators and provides speakers for schools and public events. The project also offers tailor made classroom sessions for both primary and secondary schools.

There is now irrefutable evidence that the climate is changing and that human activity is responsible for the changes we are witnessing. How we respond to these changes in the next 10 years will be crucial for the future of life on earth.

Play it Cool is one of the projects of Devon Development Education (DDE), a charity (No. 1102233) which works in Devon, Plymouth and Torbay and seeks to promote the global dimension to education. Please visit the Global Centre website for further details about the work of DDE.
